What an enjoyable week we had in St. Véran. The walking in the Queyras region was spectacular and the day we reached the top of Pic Foreant was the highlight! The 3 guides were excellent. Yves, Genevieve and Stephanie took great care of everyone in the group. All had great knowledge of the walks and a good balance of leading people to do the most they could do while keeping safety at the foremost of their minds. The hotel was cosy, with friendly and attentive staff, and the food was good and plentiful. Just one tiny thing – a shower curtain would have been useful. It was a really memorable week in a most beautiful area for walking.

Fantastic attention to detail and ambition by three excellent guides. Hotel provided cosy accommodation and plenty of food – noting in particular the local cheeses every night.
All in all, a great week’s hiking in the Queyras. Looking forward to returning.

Many thanks to Yves, Stephanie and Genevieve who guided in the most magnificent weather. Yves was expert in guiding a group of 12 to the summit of Pic Foreant and joined us on the via ferrata. ThenPic Foreant walk was the most amazing in a week of spectacular walks. The hotel while basic oozed character , comfortable with lovely food and a stunning cheeseboard.A truly unforgettable week.”
