Italian Alps – Walking Holiday – The Essentials.
This one week Aprica walking holiday on the Northern part of Italy will give you the opportunity to discover the splendid Orobie Valtellinesi Park between imposing mountain ranges.
The Orobie Valtellinesi Park, were most walks will take place, was established in 1989, spreads 50 km (49 280 hectares) from Monte Legnone to Aprica Pass, and lies between the provinces of Sondrio, Lecco, Bergamo and Brescia. minimum altitude 850 m, maximum altitude 3052 m (Pizzo Coca), 12 areas of particular environmental value with many protected species, 14 valleys.
Views will also be amazing of higher mountain ranges. North west, you will spot the Switzerland peaks like Bernina (4049 m) and toward the Noth East the peaks of Stelvio National park summiting around 4000 m also.
The Village of Aprica is the ideal base for this walking trip, allowing us to a large variety of walks with challenging to easier options.
Your accommodation is in the 3* hotel Ginepro, located in the center, with its bar, restaurant and terrace. The little town of Aprica offers also a good choice of restaurants and bars.
Airport: Fly to Milan-Bergamo airport from Cork

This trip Includes:
– 2 European mountain leaders for the week, for the 5 walking days. If numbers greater then 28 pax a third guide will be appointed.
– Milan-Bergamo airport pick up and drop off to match the Ryanair flight from/to Cork (FR 9051 and FR 9050).
– Transports during the trip to access walks
– 7 nights in the 3* Hotel Ginepro in Aprica based on two people sharing.
– 7 breakfasts & 5 dinners at the hotel.
This trip does not include:
– Flight Cork-Milan Bergamo return
– Transfers from and to Milan Bergamo airport if you pick a different flight than group flight.
– Single supplement (€195 for the week).
– Sightseeing day to Bellano (€35 per person).
– Individual insurance.
– Beverages during the trip and at the hotel.
– 2 dinners and all picnic lunches.

Another great holiday with France Outdoors. Aprica is a splendid location, surrounded by snow capped mountains.We had a great variety of walks and a trip to beautiful Lake Como.

A brilliant holiday. Hotel very comfortable and great dinners. A bit more choice in breakfasts would be welcome. Bus transfers excellent. Guides professional and willing to share their knowledge of the areas where we walked. We had easy walks and difficult walks and all levels of ability and fitness taken into account. Aprica is a very beautiful area.
