Walk on the Makarska Riviera!
About 60% of Croatia’s surface is mountainous which offers a wide choice for hiking. The Dalmatia mountains are the highest and most deserted ones in the Dinaric range, they overlook the Adriatic sea and offer fantastic vistas. Based in Makarska, very central on the coast, this human sized town offers the perfect place to enjoy both sea and mountain being set at the foot of Biokovo massif.
Everyday 2 levels of walks will be offered so you can choose the walk that suits you best.
The minimum numbers for two guides is 15 participants.
Airport: Fly to Zadar airport, away flight from Cork FR 2700, return FR2701.

Included:
– Private group transfer to match arrival and departure of Ryanair flights Zadar Airport to the Miramare Hotel****, and return.
Airport transfers are organised to match Ryanair flight Cork/Zadar:
Arrival : FR2700 Cork to Zadar
Departure : FR2701 Zadar to Cork
– 7 nights in the Miramare Hotel (Based on two people sharing). The Miramare Hotel is a 4-star hotel, excellently situated a few minutes walk form the beach.
– 7 breakfasts.
– 4 dinners: 3 dinners at the hotel and 1 dinner the last night in a local restaurant.
– 5 Guided walking days and 2 levels of walks each walking day.
– 2 Mountain leaders to guide walks during the trip. 3 leaders from 26 participants.
– 1 Mountain Leader if fewer than 14 signed up.
– Bus and boat transfers during the trip.
Not Included:
– Single room Supplement: 190€ for the week.
– Sea View supplement: 120€ per pers for the week, on request.
– Individual insurance.
– All lunches and 4 dinners
– Flights from Ireland – Cork/Zadar
– Beverages during the trip and at hotel
– Transfers from and to the resort if you pick a different flight than the group flight.
– Extra visits on free day

– Deposit of 30% or €319 per person to be paid before 28th February 2024.
– Balance one month before trip departure.

Fantastic hillwalking holiday, with two levels of walks. We had beautiful hikes ably led by Thierry, Antonia and Mate who looked after us very well. Very nice hotel in lovely town Makarska. Some of us went island hopping on our free day, others had a very interesting tour of the Diocletian palace in Split. On our one wet morning, instead of hillwalking, we got a very informative tour of an olive oil processing plant, where we got a tasty lunch and finished the day with a lovely boat trip. I would highly recommend this holiday. Many thanks to France Outdoors for another great trip.
