A walk: 12 to 18 km with up to 1000 m of Ascent – Peaks & Ridges
B walk: 7 to 12 km with up to 600 m of Ascent – Lakes and Peaks
C walk: 5 to 12 km with little climbing. Easier terrain valleys and lakes Tue 17th June : ARRIVAL
Pick up at Carcassonne airport at the arrival time of Ryanair (FR9019) from Cork, welcome by your guide and transfer to Soldeu (around 3 hours) to your 4* hotel Himalaia in the centre village with bar and spa.
Wed 18th June : Discover Soldeu area
Walking from the hotel, you will enjoy a circular walk above the town, through forest and ski slopes. Climbing on the south side of the village, you will join Refugio de Riba Escorjada giving a great view over the area, Torradella peak (2543 m) and the French border. Then you will walk back down following the Valira d’Orient river.
Thu 19th June : Estany de ransol / estany dels Meners de la Coma
Short bus transfer 15 min am and pm. Discover the North West of Soldeu near the French border, walks will start at the end of Ransol valley and go up towards the French/Andorra border limited by high peaks like Peak de La Courme de Seignac (1857m) and Pek de la Serreta (2912m).
Fri 20th June : Estany Primer de Pessons up to Sisè Estany
Short bus transfer 15 min am and pm. Loop walk from Grau Roig in a remote valley and very wild valley. Pass numerous lovely wonderful lakes like Estany del Cap del Pessons, Sisé estany, Estany del Meligar, Estany Rodó, Estany primer and many more !
Sat 21st June : Free day
You can visit Andorra La Vella, the capital of the principality which has cheap shopping options. You also take some good time at the Spa Calde or visit Ordino village and Sant Climent de Pal chapel.
Sun 22nd June : Mirador solar de Tristaina / Llacs de Tristaina
Bus transfer (35 min) to the ski resort of Arcalís. Situated at the top of Peyreguils peak in Ordino Arcalis, near the French border, this hike leads to a new lookout offering panoramic views and includes several routes passing by beautiful lakes and some of the 4 peaks, Costa Rodona, Tristaina, Creussans and Cabanyo.
Mon 23rd June : Vall d’Incles
Short bus transfer 15 min am. North East of Soldeu, the Incles valley hosts a wide variety of flora and fauna, but it has also managed to retain its wild character. Known as one of the largest valleys in Andorra, this great unknown will surprise you with its natural gems. Walk back to the hotel.
Tue 24th June : FAREWELL!
Transfer to Carcassonne to catch your Ryanair flight (FR9020 to Cork).
