Snowshoeing in Seefeld – Austria – The Essentials
Seefeld’s sunny high plateau, surrounded by the spectacular Karwendel and Wetterstein Mountains, offers ideal snowshoeing through peaceful forests, snowy meadows and stunning Alpine scenery. This holiday includes five guided snowshoe walks with Vincent, suitable for regular hikers, with daily distances of 7–11 km and 300–600m of ascent.
Airport: Fly to Munich airport.

– One France Outdoors European mountain leader for the week to guide the 5 walks and coordinate the trip.

– Airport transfers to match group flights from and to Innsbruck airport.
– Public transports during the trip, excellent bus service locally.
– 7 nights in the 3 star hotel Central based on two people sharing.
– 7 breakfasts. 7 Dinners.

– Individual insurance (should cover helicopter evacuation).
– Supplement single €325, for the 7 nights, limited places. Thanks to contact us before booking a single room.
Please note that if you book a sharing place (twin rooms) without a sharing partner, we will do our best to find you one, however in failing doing so, extra single supplement will apply.
– All beverages.
– All Picnic lunches.
– All extras not included in the itinerary pages 1 & 2 or mentioned as optional.
– Any transfer not matching group transfer will be at additional costs. If you need any help to organise a special airport transfer, just contact us.
– Bank fees if paying by card (€19) – no fees by bank transfer.
Check lit:
– Walking boots, (leather boots).
– Gaiters, warm pair of socks, some lights too.
– Winter hiking pants, long johns, and waterproof Goretex overtrouser.
– Goretex jacket/ Waterproof jacket breathable.
– Fleece jacket. Duvet jacket.
– Micro fleece and mountain tee shirts for base layer, if possible avoid cotton tee-shirts.
– Hat and cap, Buffs.
– Sun protection, eye protection (sun glasses and goggles can be handy if you have some).
– Gloves two pairs, one light and one warm.
– For snowshoeing no need to bring your walking sticks as we provide them, unless you prefer to use your own.
– Rucksack 30 Litres with straps to carry the snowshoes when necessary.
– Water bottle 1L to 1.5 Litres preferably. A small thermal flask so you can drink hot in the mountain.
– Camelback not so recommended (tend to freeze in the winter).
– Don’t forget your own medication (if any)
– Blister treatment (second skin, etc,..).
Booking and deposit process:
– Deposit of €436 (30%) to be paid at the time of booking to secure your place.
– Balance to be paid six weeks before the trip
