Day 1 : Arrival Marseille or Montpellier - transfer to Sault
Arriving at Marseille or Montpellier airport and transfer to Sault
You will be staying in the hotel “du Louvre”, in the centre village. Welcome meeting in the evening with your leader to check the bikes and do the last adjustments. If we have enough time, possibility to go for a nice ride, South West of Sault, nice Provence countryside.

Day 2: Warm up day – Discover the Provence roads.
For your first day cycling, you will enjoy a lovely tour bringing you from Sault to Montbrun, then climbing the Col de Macuègne (1068 m). This is one of the “must to be done” pass of the area, it offers a regular climb (5 %) for 9,5 km; you will be reward by a beautiful view over Mont Ventoux. Then, after an additional easier 4,5km climb, you will join the Col de l'Homme Mort (1213m) before a descent overlooking at the Plateau d'Albion. You will join Banon and Simiane La Rotonde, perched Provence villages surrounded by lavender fields and return to Sault. Distance: 87km Ascent: 1170 m Descent: 1170 m

Day 3. : Mont Ventoux climb (1910 m).
You will join Malaucène cycling via the magnificent Gorges de la Nesque. Then, you will cycle to Bedoin and climb the Mont Mentoux by the most famous & difficult Tour de France route. From Bedoin, 1610 m ascent to join the Col des Tempêtes with an average slope at 7,5 % reaching in some parts 10,7 % ! Then descent to Sault. Distance: 105km Ascent: 2060 m Descent: 2060 m

Day 4 : Transfer to Marseille or Montpellier airport
Spend the morning in sault at your own pace before a transfer to Marseille or Montpellier airport. If time, optional ride in the morning.
